Eddie Beck

Eddie Beck is Truth Value’s drummer and yet-to-be-discovered best background vocalist. He got his start on drums and piano at the age of 5 shortly after moving to Gainesville, and his early years were largely spent listening and playing along to classic rock. Since then, he has played in an impressive variety of musical ensembles, ranging from drum lines and marching bands to jazz and rock bands, to wind symphonies, percussion ensembles, and orchestras. His favorite drummers include Stewart Copeland, Carter Beauford, and Larnell Lewis. His wide-ranging musical tastes are influenced by his diverse experience and appear in Truth Value’s cover selection and eclectic sound. Eddie also drums for local band Haunches, studies engineering at UF, and enjoys chess and Scrabble in his free time.
