Danny Gitlin

Hey! I’m Danny, bass player for Truth Value! I got my start playing instruments in second grade after my family realized I am horrific at sports. My musical journey started in a more traditional way, playing French Horn and trumpet in orchestra and jazz bands, but gave that up for bass guitar in middle school. My biggest musical influences come from funk, soul, psych-rock, and world musical traditions of many varieties. Apart from slappin da bass I work in a biophysics lab, and am pursuing graduate school in biomedical engineering!
